Kouichirou Zaizen joined Japan Post in 2004 and has been involved in postal privatization and postal and logistics sales planning. He has been in charge of call center management since 2018 and has concurrently served in the Operational Reformation Division since 2019. He is driving DX by introducing new technologies into postal and logistics operations. Specifically, he is introducing an automated routing system using AI, automating the acceptance of re-delivery requests over the phone using voice recognition AI, and introducing robotics such as AGVs and robotic arms.
